Chuck Martin of Pittsburg, Kansas, purchased Professional Carpet Services in 1994. The business included a van on the verge of death, a truck-mounted hot water extraction unit that was broken down as often as it ran, and a small group of clients. Times were tough, hard work and determination were the only things that kept him afloat through his first few years. He proudly proclaimed to be the cheapest cleaner in town! As he gained experience in the industry, he realized that being the cheapest cleaner was not what he wanted to be. By the end of the 90’s he had set his sights on being the premier carpet cleaner in the Pittsburg area. Through providing top quality work, and an excellent service experience, Chuck built Professional Carpet Services into one of the areas most reputable cleaning firms.
In 2005, Chuck’s brother Eddie Martin moved to Frontenac, KS to be near Chuck and his family. Eddie had just graduated college and was looking for a summer job before entering the education field. He helped Chuck in the summer of 2005 and fell in love with the industry. He had already spent several summers working for a very large a reputable cleaning and restoration company in Topeka, Ks and began implementing systems learned through this experience.
By the fall of 2006, the Martin brothers had decided to become partners and form Professional Cleaning & Restoration, LLC. They began offering additional cleaning services including tile and grout cleaning and protection and power washing. They had grown through the years from having a broken down cleaning rig to having the area’s most state-of-the-art self contained mobile cleaning station and a list a satisfied clients that they are very proud of.
The Martin brothers believed that they had built such a quality reputation in the area that it was time to attach their name to the business of which they are so proud. In January of 2012 they went through a complete rebrand. New name, Martin Professional Cleaning and Restoration, new logo and look, but the same mission: To provide the most outstanding service experience ever!
